The O’Neill Family can trace its retail trading roots in Wexford back to the 1800’s where Bobby O’Neills Grandmother is listed as being a trader of poultry and general goods in the Selskar area. The first sweetshop as such was opened by his parents, Michael and Patrica in the early 70’s and became famous for its range of loose sweets. (Pic ‘n Mix)

1n 1982 we moved to the present location of our Head Office trading mostly in fruit ‘n veg and flowers with sweets being a sideline. The emphasis in trade changed over the years and we gradually became known as the place to buy sweets in Wexford. We remained as a one-unit operation until 1992 when we opened our second branch in Selskar Street Wexford. Since then we have opened branches in 105 South Main Street Wexford, Waterford, Clonmel, Athy, Dungarvan & Kilkenny respectively.

Our head office now trades over 3 floors offering a comprehensive party and costume hire range as well as gifts for every occasion.
